I got to see the film Heima (http://www.heimafilm.com and http://www.heima.co.uk) at The Ross last night. It’s a great artistic film following the band Sigur Rós as they perform a series of free concerts in their native Iceland. As far as I can tell, The Ross only scheduled the one showing at 7 last night. It’s available on DVD which I didn’t know at the time but I’m still glad I saw it – much more impactful.

Awesome. My brother-in-law made me a copy of Sigur Rós’ album Ágætis Byrjun, which I’ve enjoyed but need to listen to more often. I’ve kind of lumped it in with other post-rock bands like The Radio Dept, The Books, and newish Radiohead…
